Giving Hope Project: Program Costs

Through the Giving Hope Empowerment Project, children receive a variety of tools, resources, and trainings to improve their lives.  Each child receives different amounts of support depending upon their needs.  Not all children, for example, need vocational training and some already have adequate housing.  On average, the total cost of the 2-3 year empowerment program is $825 per family (or around $0.25 per child per day) which brings hope and eliminates the need for life-long outside relief aid.

A sampling of the program expenses are below.

ZOE distributes pigs and other animals to orphans who have demonstrated their readiness to care for the animals. Animals are a valuable resource as they help with crop fertilization and income generation from the sale of offspring.
