Church Resources

ZOE Ministry offers several resources for churches, with opportunities to support and engage with this life-changing ministry.

Hope Companion Sponsorship
We invite churches to experience a different kind of mission: partnership with a group of orphans through their  journey from poverty to a transformed life of hope and self-reliance.  When a church supports one or more Working Groups of 60-80 orphans over the course of three years, they are able to send a number of representatives (depending on sponsorship level) to visit with their group in Africa on a ZOE-led mission trip. These trips allow sponsors and orphans to truly become partners in their journey. Learn more about our unique opportunity to become a Hope Companion.

A Little Child Shall Lead Them: Scenes of Faith from African Orphans
ZOE offers a free resource for pastors and Christian leaders: a series of over 30 stories from African orphans that provide present-day demonstrations of God’s reconciling, strengthening, and creating presence in the midst of turmoil. Christian teaching can be richly enhanced by sharing these stories of transformation, whether sermons, devotion, or biblical study. After a short, free registration, you can browse the stories and their corresponding scripture passages.

Children’s Mission Moments
This free package includes five videos with accompanying take-home mission papers.  Each paper handout features a mission project that allows children and their families to support the work of ZOE Ministry in fun and meaningful ways. These videos and handouts are perfect for Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, or Children’s Church. We invite you to watch and download our Children’s Mission Moments.

HOPE Walk – Youth Helping Youth
This is not your average 10K fundraising walk! It is not American youth, but empowered African orphans who walk. Through ZOE’s orphan empowerment program, these orphans, now free of outside aid, want to extend that same hope to orphans still in need. ZOE connects these walkers with youth in America to find sponsors, so that together they can help new families journey out of poverty to self-sufficiency. We encourage you to learn more about the HOPE Walk.
