Across Africa, children need our love and support because their parents have died from sickness and disease. Every day, 6,000 children become orphans due to HIV/AIDS. Your church's participation in ZOE Children's Mission Moments will make a lasting difference in the lives of many children. While these were originally created as a Vacation Bible School resource, the moments can also be adapted for use throughout the year. How does it work? Like so many children, Penenah was orphaned at a young age and left with siblings to care for. At the tender age of 12, she was left to provide for a younger brother. An uncle quickly stole the best of the land Penenah’s parents had left for her. Hungry, alone and frightened, Penenah was approached by a man with the offer of $8 and some bread. Carry the Light – Benefit Concert
Carry the Light, an ecumenical contemporary gospel concert will benefit ZOE's programs in Africa. Set for Sunday, September 26 at 3pm and 7pm, the event will be held in the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas. Carry the Light will feature over 300 singers and instrumentalists from various denominations from the Dallas/Fort Worth area who are uniting to form one voice for one great cause - to care for orphaned children in Africa.
